We’ve been expanding and upgrading our fleet of portable production units, and our newest system — PPU4 — is now in the final build stage. As demand for live event filming, multi-camera production, and broadcast-quality streaming continues to grow, keeping our equipment at the highest standard is essential.
With a packed summer schedule ahead, all eight PPUs and both of our outside broadcast vehicles will be fully deployed. That makes getting this new unit operational a top priority. We have just four days to complete the build before it heads straight to the Hay Festival for its first multi-camera production.
One more day of wiring, assembly, and system configuration should see PPU4 ready for a full day of soak testing — ensuring every camera channel, audio path, and engineering workflow performs flawlessly.
