Case Study - Arencross Series
We have been the host broadcaster of The Arencross Series in the UK for some years now. We broadcast to a pay per view system that we have created for the client. Live streaming each event to an audience of thousands, nationally and internationally. The events through up particualr challenges, not least in the confnes of areneas. Typically they are all just bigger than an ice hockey pitch. Thousands of tons of soil are brought into the arena to make the extremely tight track, working around this we lay a few kilometers of fibre to three fixed operated cameras, two with long lenses. We then have a further three fixed position micro cameras, an 8m jib and an RF camera working the arena floor. This is all complimented by a ‘studio’ area for two commentator/presenters with a further three cameras to create the sports presentation elements of the 4hr show. All operated by a ten person crew.
