As the gates open at the world-renowned Hay Festival, the team at Bubble Production are once again behind the scenes delivering live broadcast coverage across the site.
For the next 11 days, our crew will be managing an ambitious live streaming and recording operation that keeps audiences connected both on-site and around the world.

This year’s setup includes:
- Over 2 kilometres of cable infrastructure
- 4 fully live-broadcast stages
- 5 cameras operating on each main stage
- An additional 4 streamed stages across the festival site
- Multiple remote production locations
- More than 80 live events streamed
- Nearly 600 hours of recorded content
From authors and artists to politicians, performers and global thinkers, every session demands flawless coordination between camera operators, sound engineers, vision mixers, stream technicians and production management.
While audiences enjoy the conversations on stage, our team is working tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure every moment is captured, streamed and delivered to viewers everywhere with broadcast-quality reliability.

Large-scale live event production takes planning, precision and a huge collaborative effort — and Hay Festival is one of the highlights of the year for the Bubble Production crew.
We’re proud to be supporting another incredible festival and helping bring these conversations to audiences across the globe.
