Big Tribute Festival Aberystwyth: Three Days of Live Multi-Camera Production
Bubble Production spent three busy days in Aberystwyth again, delivering live multi-camera production for Big Tribute Festival, covering an impressive 20 tribute acts across the weekend.
With a packed programme and a large live audience, the production needed to be fast, flexible and consistent from the first act through to the final performance.
Our crew of six delivered the full live screen production using a combination of three operated cameras and two PTZ robotic cameras, with the finished programme fed to two giant screens around the festival site.

Five-Camera Coverage Across Three Days
The five-camera setup was complemented by a further two static cameras on stage and gave the production team the flexibility to cover every performance from a range of angles.
The three operated cameras provided the main coverage, including close-ups and performance shots, while the two PTZ robotic cameras added extra viewpoints without increasing the production footprint around the stage.
With 20 acts performing over three days, the team needed to react quickly to constantly changing performers, staging and lighting conditions while maintaining a consistent visual style throughout the festival.
Live iMAG for Two Giant Screens
The finished multi-camera programme was delivered live to two large event screens, giving audiences across the site a closer view of the performers on stage.
This type of iMAG production is particularly valuable at outdoor festivals, where many audience members may be some distance from the stage.
By combining traditional operated cameras with remotely controlled PTZ cameras, we were able to provide close-ups, wide shots and additional stage angles throughout each performance.

A Crew of Six Delivering Live Festival Production
A six-person Bubble Production crew managed the full live production across the three-day festival.
From camera operation and robotic camera control through to live direction, engineering and screen feeds, the team worked continuously across a demanding schedule of back-to-back performances.
Festivals such as Big Tribute Festival demonstrate the advantage of a compact multi-camera setup that can deliver broadcast-style coverage without creating unnecessary clutter around the stage or audience areas.

Live Production for Festivals and Outdoor Events
Bubble Production provides live multi-camera production, iMAG screen coverage and outside broadcast facilities for festivals, concerts and large-scale outdoor events across the UK.
Our production systems can be scaled from compact portable production units through to full outside broadcast facilities, with operated cameras, long-lens cameras and PTZ robotic cameras configured around the requirements of each event.
Whether the output is being delivered to giant screens, streamed online, recorded for on-demand viewing or all three, our focus is on creating reliable, professional coverage that enhances the audience experience.
Three days, 20 acts, five cameras, two giant screens and one very busy Bubble Production team in Aberystwyth.
